This web-site is written in French, however, the logical explanations of the solutions are illustrated with visual indications that may be sufficient to understand the logical reasonings. Understanding French would help but it is not mandatory.
This web-site proposes :
- the systematic study of techniques either direct or indirect, to place numbers in the sudoku in absolute certainty ( in French = PLACEMENT CERTAIN). For each technique, several examples are provided and logically explained.
- for each technique several training problems (often 3) are provided with a logical solution using the technique under study.
- the archives of the Figaro-Magazine and Le Monde de l'Intelligence provide a series of problems from difficulty 4 to 8 stars and help each sudoku player to measure their own ability in solving fiendish problems.
It is recommanded that each sudoku player plan their own studies to fully profit from this free-of-charge web-site.
